Who the hell does Jack Howard think he is?

Hiya, I'm Jack.

I'm a filmmaker, originally from Nottingham, now based in London.

I've been creating my own films since I was 16, starting out with comedy duo Jack & Dean on YouTube, garnering over 75 million views. The highlight was the production of two seasons of 'Jack & Dean of All Trades', co-starring BAFTA winner Jessica Hynes.

My short film 'The Second Time Around' starring Caroline Goodall and Hannah Onslow is currently on the festival circuit. An Iris Prize finalist, the film is set to broadcast on Film4 in October, and stream on Channel4 VOD for the year after.

I've wrote and directed for CBBC and Comedy Central.

In the commercial world, I have directed work for prominent brands such as Walkers, Beko, Dominos, Three Mobile, Campari, Cineworld, Hula Hoops, Jim Beam, Sky and the Blunty McBluntface campaign.

Some highlights:

2025

I directed "Jheeze & Onion" for Walkers Crisps - a tribute to the legendary Budweiser ‘Wassup’ ad.

2024

I directed 'The Beko Inheritance' for Beko, which won a Cannes Lion.

2023

2022

2021

I directed 'East Mode' for Comedy Central. My short film 'Emotional Baggage' was a finalist at the LOCO film festival, and the visual album 'Build A Problem' I directed for dodie won the Audience Award at the British Short Film Awards.

2018

I was selected to participate in the Sundance New Voices Lab for a script which was later optioned and developed by Merman Productions.
