Who does Jack Howard think he is?

Jack Howard (pictured here in a tree for some reason) is a filmmaker based in London who loves making things and hates writing in the third person.

Recently Jack has been focusing on directing commercials and music videos to prove that he can direct things that he isn't in. It's going pretty well. He has worked with artists such as Calva Louise, Orla Gartland, Leadley, Glass Caves and most recently he directed the Visual Album for dodie's debut "Build A Problem".

In the commercial world, Jack has worked with brands such as Dominos, Pepsi, EE, Hula Hoops and Sky. Recently he directed a TV ad for ZenAuto starring Matt King.

He's been making comedy sketches for over 10 years as part of comedy duo Jack & Dean. They're quite popular, depending who you ask. The highlight was making 2 seasons of 'Jack & Dean of All Trades' which co-starred BAFTA winner Jessica Hynes. OOoooOOoh!

He also created two series for BBC iPlayer, worked for Radio 1 for a bit, directed a pilot for Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s company 'New Form', was selected to be part of the Sundance New Voices Lab in 2018 and makes a podcast with Mark friggin' Kermode. That'll do. You get it.

Jack is currently in post-production on a series he is directing for Comedy Central.
